STUDENT SKETCHES

Through workshops, assignments, and weekly Neighborhood Sketch Walks, students are required  to use hand drawing to analyze and record buildings and places.   Hand sketching is also important in early studio idea generation.  While final project work emphasizes professional-level digital skills, reviewers value the evidence of initial concept sketches and diagrams as they do in their practices.  The photos below are from typical sketching places.
